Amongst the most significant discoveries in all of AlUla is the city of Dadan, the capital of the Dadan and Lihyan kingdoms. The city, which was built meticulously from stone and astride the valley’s oasis, dates back between the late 9th and early 8th century BCE (Kingdom of Dadan) and 5th–2nd century BCE (Kingdom of Lihyan).

• Visit JABAL IKMAH

Jabal Ikmah, a mountain near to the ancient city of Dadan, the capital of Dadanite and Lihyanite Kingdoms, has been described as a huge open-air library.

• Visit the Elephant Mountain

An enjoyable tour to see the astonishing Elephant Mountain from the heart of the golden desert sands, one of the many geological wonders of AlUla. In contrast to the ornate hand-carved facades of the Nabataean cemeteries in the neighboring city of Al-Hajar, The trunk and body of this red sand mountain were made by the forces of nature over millions of years from the factors of erosion and erosion by wind and water. • Visit Hegra (Madain Saleh)

An enjoyable tour of the Nabataeans’ stone “masterpiece”. we explore the ornate, hand-carved facades of the Nabataean cemeteries in the city of Hegra, which played a pivotal role in the prosperity of the Nabataean Empire, which remains shrouded in mystery.

• Visit THE DIWAN AND JABAL ITHLIB

Religious or ritual practices at Hegra were concentrated around Jabal Ithlib, a natural mountain outcrop to the east of the city.

• Visit JABAL ALAHMAR

Among Hegra’s outcrops is Jabal AlAhmar, a name referring to the red hue of the rock. This location has 18 tombs, of which, a few were recently excavated.

• Visit JABAL ALBANAT

Over 100 monumental tombs are carved into the rocky outcrops surrounding the ancient city of Hegra. Jabal AlBanat has one of the largest clusters of tombs; 29 tombs are carved on all sides of the sandstone rock
