Shaqra and Ushaiger Tour

In an exploratory journey, we will set off together from Riyadh heading towards Shaqra and Ushaiger, which are about 201 km away from the capital.

We will start our tour by visiting Al-Qasab Salt Mine, where we will discover the source of the “white gold” – the finest table salt in Saudi Arabia. Then we will head to Sheikh Abdullah bin Zahim Palace, which dates back more than a century, to explore a part of the region’s rich history.

We will enjoy visiting the Bird Sanctuary and Dar Al-Salam Museum, which documents the heritage of fathers and grandfathers and chronicles an important period in the nation’s life. After a tour full of discoveries, we will have a traditional lunch meal.

One of the highlights of our trip will be a tour in the Ushaiger Heritage Village, where we will wander together through its narrow alleys and enjoy its authenticity and heritage. Before returning to Riyadh, we will visit Hulaywah Traditional Market, which is considered one of the most important markets in Shaqra with its history exceeding 90 years.

Thus, we will conclude our journey rich in heritage and culture, return to Riyadh 201 km away, say our goodbyes, and end the tour.
