The well is considered one of the most prominent and famous monuments in the city of Sakaka, due to the shape and shape of the creative engineering well, in which the builders made rare craftsmanship and innovative methods, which some considered an eye-catching painting, as it is carved in the rock, and its shape is oval with diameters estimated at eight meters by nine meters, and its current depth is 15 meters, and on one side there is a staircase carved from the rock itself, torrential and rainwater descended into the well, and through a channel under the stairs this water is distributed The well dates back to the Nabataean period (the first century AD), which is evident from the method of sculpture similar to the tombs of Mada’in Saleh in Al-Ula.
